Health and Safety Authority issues Wood Pellet safety alert

The Health and Safety Authority have released an alert to workers, and other members of the public, on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning linked to the storage of Wood Pellets. Wood Pellets can emit Carbon Monoxide while being stored and transported between locations. A toxic level of Carbon Monoxide can be reached in a storage area, even when the Pellets are only stored for a short period of time.
