The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) has today published a consultation paper on Smart Meters for electricity customers. The document outlines proposals on how and when consumers can sign up to use the devices. The CRU is also looking to hear the viewsof different groups and individuals regarding the proposals, by the 27th of November. More information is available from the CRU's website.
