The Department of Communications, Climate Action & Environment will make €8 million in funding available to a number of public and private institutions for energy research. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) will be responsible for selecting suitible projects and providing the funding.The €8 million fund will support 45 projects energy based projects, focusing primarily on finding new methods for providing cleaner, sustainable energy to homes and businesses around the country.
